Color Matching

If you have a paint chip you would like us to match, the following steps will explain how to send us a sample and receive your Cardinal Paint custom aerosol:

1. SUBMIT YOUR COLOR CHIP

We require that you send paint chip/sample that measures at most 3” x 5”. Your paint chip/sample will be returned to you, but if the sample is larger than 3” x 5” you will be charged a separate fee for shipping and handling. Once we receive your paint chip/sample you will receive a confirmation email with a unique color code.

2. Mail paint chip/sample to:

**Please include your order number you will receive once this product has been added to your cart, and the order has been completed.

 

3. Once the sample has been received we will begin the production process

The color you have selected is available as a stock aerosol. If you wish to order our stock option please visit our stock aerosols.

4. COMPLETE CUSTOMIZATAION OPTIONS AND SUBMIT PAYMENT

Complete the finishing touches for your paint using the options below. Once your order has been submitted and payment details have been finalized, products will be shipped within 2-4 days.

Choose the specific gloss or sheen you require.

Add the beaded finish option to your custom aerosol if you are touching up textured powder coating.

UV additive will extend the exterior performance the coating and is recommended when touching up superdurable powder coating.

Please note that there is a $1/can up-charge for "Beaded" Texture and UV Additive.

Cardinal’s aerosol system allows you to create your own custom product in just a few simple steps. You begin by entering your Cardinal color code in the box above, then decide what gloss level you want, if you need texture beading or UV additive for extended exterior exposure. Select the quantity you want and you’re done. Please note there is a three (3) day lead time for custom products.

Important Information

Colors may vary from competitor colors and aged color decks. Some light and Chroma colors may require a white primer or base coat to have full color development. Shake the aerosol can before using and build the finish up with multiple coats.
